^ this is what 'another show of another day of couture/PFW' used to look like before the suits had their Black Friday with the crisis of 2008 and worked day and night brainwashing everyone into thinking that you were only valuable as a designer if your designs were produced for YSL, Chanel, Dior, LV, etc, all the old houses that co-existed fine with independent design but were not actively trying to decimate it and to present independent labels as only a waiting room for creative people to finally get to a conglomerate. Thanks to this nice offering of creativity in different forms, pressure was higher and so was the bar for everyone, so you'd see this, and Theyskens at his finest 2 hours later, followed by Pieters, Ghesquiere, etc.
I don't think she'll ever come back, definitely not to produce something like this, but I still think this level of corporatization in fashion is not sustainable and that a new generation will want nothing to do with it and get dogmatic on the potential fashion design (and not fickle creative direction) still has.
