Anthony Vaccarello F/W 13.14 Paris

Congratulations, Vaccarello, your collection managed to be both redundant and gimmicky at once.

the coats and jackets look really good....really sharp and tailored. but other than that it's a bit tacky and one-dimensional to me. most of the dresses look like something only an overrated celebrity tart would wear.

i like it. but i usually like his work. which has always put me at odds with like 90% of this board #noshame

The pancake makeup is not doing anyone favors and the clothes alternate between flashy and boring. I think the early part of the collection is nice, like the sweaters, but I don't like the drop-waist outerwear or the overuse of the hardware in the later looks (this shirt aside, I think it looks neat).

Those gowns are so noobish, as are the shoes. I don't hate this, but at the same time I feel like he should have grown above and beyond this sort of collection by now.

i always think i will get bored of this but i haven't! i love his stuff. i love the tight skirts and all the embellishments it looks great. good collection!

And not a single nip slip, I'm proud of him for that :lol: its a nice show, nothing super amazing, but I like it :smile:

Yeah. :ninja::heart:

The dresses and skirts in the beginning almost got me, but something about the proportions, it's like he can't help himself with the Balmain! lengths..

Substantially less tacky than his previous offerings. I quite like the coats and the leather pieces, even the (tired) chain detail look great in most of the looks. Just wish the colour pallet was more diverse.

I love the leather dresses. They're really sexy and yet they're probably among some of the most modest pieces he's shown in his career. Very sharp outerwear and I'm really loving the minimal styling.
