Thank you rox_yr_sox.The second image is the one by Steven Meisel i assume? Is it a reprint? If so from what issue?

Such a pity about Segal because his contributions were great, specially the ones with Malgosia and Hilary (Well, I don't remember if she was shot by him or Tsiolis... it's the one she's wearing the same "dress" Malgosia wore in the cover of Numéro... Btw I'm missing his contributions as well).
Personally I don't like Klein's aesthetic, so I don't even care if he's working or not for VP... I wish there were more Ben Hasset and Marie-Amélie Sauvé.

I really admire that Carine shares her expertise in fashion by styling her own shoots, it shows her knowledge of the industry, and most importantly shows us how much she deserves to be editor in chief. I know Anna Wintour has good taste as to what she puts in the magazine, but it would be nice to see her style something, I want to see what she would choose to out in editorials. It would be nice to see if Anna is even as good as people say she is, and this coming from a die hard fan of Anna's.

^well it's a rather doubtful point of view, as being editor in chief doesn't necessarily mean you have to contribute to the title via editorials or text pieces. it's not even about your personal taste. it's about managing the title and offering a certain point of view, that conforms to the general vision and concept of the title, instead of indulging your personal preferences. it's good when two concur, but i guess it's not the case.

Ys, I understand editor-in-chief all you have do t is run the show, and do it well, which Anna does extremely well. But it would nice to see her do at least something s we can know who this woman is, and i'm sure any agree.^_^

Hah,I just noticed it's Alain Chamfort (Claire Dehlens's ex) on this series.(There was also an article about him written by Lolita Pille in an older issue).

I've just been looking back at the past eds and I have to say the earlier years were so much better than now (especially the years 2001 and 2002).

^I always wondered what that other girls name is as well. Thanks for posting. I love that it's so demure.

I really love that last one, it's a good reminder of all the reasons why I love lakshmi menon and I really like the styling. One thing I can't stand though is when ethnic models are used and the name of the ed is "afro-something" or "black-something." they don't do that when other models are used so I don't see the point

There are a couple more editorials in this issue besides the ones already seen in the thread, but I don't know how I'll get them scanned- I have to go to the nearby stationery shop to do it and the man who does the scanning looked so disapproving at the sight of Kate's nipples in the fifth scan, I can't quite make myself go and ask him to scan Sophie Marceau in lingerie and (I think) Shannan Click topless. I'll try to find a more blasé scanning place...
