the destroyed jeans with the skull silkscreen is really cool.

I also like the black/charcoal striped tee, i think i like the UC version better than the same tee Hedi did for Dior S/S 05!

I'd like to see some signature pieces from the collection though - it seems HK magazines always just post the tees, jeans and mini accessories!

OMG... that jacket in the first pic... it´s just amazing, I want one =( ...!

Yeah that is quite the interesting jacket, I'd love to see it in person. Perhaps I'm too far overboard in my obsession with DH, but does anyone else here think of the Luster Napoleon jacket and Strip destroyed black jeans when they see that first pic?

The jackets are absolutely my taste! I think they should have some close up of those jackets in this month's issue of Men's Non No or was it last month's? Im not too sure.
Anyway the reason why the HK magz mainly show shirts and jeans is coz most of them are focused on street fashion. Perhaps I'll pick up Men's Non No and check out those jackets close up heh.

While I can understand the perspective that focusing on easy items such as t-shirts and jeans is the most direct way to reach the average HK "trend" consumer, i disagree that street fashion has to be necessarily limited to print tees! That's why I'd much rather read magazines such as Men's Non No, Arena Homme+, and other magazines whose spreads involve more detailed styling.

Matt, TOTALLY agree with you here. That was my knee-jerk reaction.

You can see all of these items from the above magazine are all from parelle goods shops. They mostle import tees, jeans and mini accessories. If you're from Hong Kong, you'll know what I meant.

They don't have too much buffers for expensive items such as jackets, coats. And their customer don't really buy these kind of items. Those people buying expensive items won't really go to parelle goods shops too.

Just my point of view.

Why is it called a 'Napoleon jacket'? That military frogged style looks completely English to me, not Napoleonic...

these are great pictures! anymore of scans of Jun Takahashi's stuffs on magazines?

I think it's called a Mongolian Jacket instead of a Napoleon Jacket, however since it looks half similar to Hedi's creation. Yes there are more magazine scans coming...

It certainly will be interesting to see UnderCover's Mens collection on the runway.

Can't wait for that day.

The mongolian jacket reminds me more of the Dior SS06 baseball jackets than the Napoleon Jacket. The black version would/could very well work in the same setting.

I definately like some of the things I see of UC.

whaooooo that's really something!

his mens collection are even nicer than heidi slimane's or rick owen's! interesting.

anymore scans on the mens older collections?

Older collections...well nope. But I'm sure there might be some pics on yahoo auctions japan ^_^
