After studying fabrics and materials in fashion school, you automatically a fabric snob - or a quality vs. price snob! I don't buy anything without comparing composition to price anymore. I don't mind viscose at all, it is after all regenerated cellulose, same with rayon.

Composition doesn't guarantee quality, it also takes knowledge in construction to know if something is for instance high quality or low quality silk.
