I saw it at my bookshop like 10 days ago but I didn't buy it. The contents are as bad as the cover IMO, the main ed sucks, the Weber porfolio is just a series of collages of boring pics...
^ Well you like Vogue US so I wouldn't say you're too demanding and I like a lot of the recent issues of most magazines so I'm not either... But this is just plain bad IMO...
i'm in love with Panos but honestly this is not his best work...
though there are some very good shots....(well when i say shots i mean looks....)
maybe this is the over-use of those scottish kilts that bother me.... it works with some looks (CDG jackets + yellow pants and Dolce look, too) but for instance it's ab. NOT working.... but that's just my opinion...
otherwise, i like the way Luke looks there....
and Cole... well I just love Cole, so....
thanks a lot a.t
does it bother you if i ask to scan more ????
^the second silhouette (Sims & Sauvé) is breathtaking..... f***ing futuristic silhouette that could eventually look f***ing good on some men.... it's a sort of balance to Hedi Slimane's first days in YSL and Raf Simons' elitist college community and nature's collection in Parc Floral (2003? 2004?) and his SS05 collection .... A group in the Future.... something à la Steven Klein in Uomo Vogue Nov. 2006 but by David Sims!!!
I can easily imagine a story with the three....
I wish she could develop this shopping/story further....
And Sims portrays it very good...
