Arrested Development

I almost hope they don't do a movie.
I would just hate to see it not live up to the show ( like the SATC movie, IMO:innocent:)

I want a movie. I'm sure they would do a better job than other shows that have movies. And it's too annoying to see mediocre shows go on and on...and on while the good ones go too soon.

brokenenglish,i agree bout sex and the city, that was horrible.
but i think they'll put more effort into ad

by the way, people who love AD,what other shows do you watch?
tryig to find somethng good

I want the movie too!!it ended far too soon for me..it still is my favorite comedy show of all time..nothing even compares..:(

^^that would seriously be a dream come true..
what bothers me is that the networks are still counting only on TV ratings when the younger population has moved away from that..they should also count the tivo viewings, internet downloads, the viewings through fanpop or surfthechannel..I mean they decide to cancel a show without taking these things into account..not to mention the success on foreign countries via dvd rents or sales..:(

Just finished the last espisode.

I watched the whole series, from start to finish, over the last month. I didn't watch it when it was on (I hated it from the little bits I saw here and there), but I so regret not giving it a fair chance back then. The show is so perfect. Other than a couple weaker episodes here and there, the whole series is just gold. One of my ABSOLUTE all time favorites tv comedies. I love every character, (almost) every storyline, every line. So sad there won't be more Arrested Development to watch. No more BUSTER. TOBIAS. LUCILLE. (those three were my favorites). Ugh...

I have to say though I really dislike how they ended it. I wish Lindsay wasn't adopted. :( I really liked her relationship with Michael. But I guess they had to given that they got themselves into a corner with the whole George Michael and Maebe situation (they should've never taken it that far).

I hope there is a movie becuase I have faith that it would be AWESOME.

YAY! Really hope it will happen.

Jeffrey Tambor made an appearance on Entourage a couple episodes ago and he was hilarious. Made me miss his character and the rest of the cast.

Tobias Fünke: Okay, Lindsay, are you forgetting that I was a professional twice over - an analyst and a therapist. The world's first analrapist.

Tobias Fünke: No, no, it's pronounced a-nal-ra-pist.
Buster: It wasn't really the pronunciation that bothered me.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Michael Cera joins Arrested Development movie!
Oh happy day!

Inside sources close to the negotiations of the upcoming Arrested Development movie tell me that Superbad and Juno star (and before that, hello, George-Michael Bluth!) Michael Cera has finally agreed to do the feature film project.

Cera had been the lone holdout among the show's stars for several weeks. All other Bluths, including Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and David Cross, are already game, according to sources.

So when exactly will the movie happen?

According to insiders, the movie may go as early as the end of the year, if they can put it together in time. I'm told Mitchell Hurwitz is writing the script, Ron Howard is directing and Fox Searchlight is the studio.

But don't you dare ask the cast or crew for inside info!

As Ron Howard told our own Ryan Seacrest at the Oscars on Sunday: "It's looking very much like we're going to make [the movie], but we've now been asked to stop offering any details. It's cloaked in a little mystery, but it's looking good."

Um, I'll say!

Anyone else thrilled to see that all the Bluths headed for the big screen? I hear David Cross is so excited he just blue himself.

i got so excited when i heard ron howard say that there was going to be making arrested development into a movie for sure!

Everything about this show is so tragically hilarious (except its cancellation, which was just tragic). "Bob Loblaw" entered my mind and I had to post...

One of the funniest shows ever. I'm so happy they are turning it into a movie.
