Artur Elgort is an amazing photographer. Is it just me or is he often negelcted in US Vogue nowadays?

He only shoots like twice a year now I've noticed . Although US Vogue has been great this year, less of Meisel and Elgort editorials is a losing formula .

well, fashion-iconography is a great resource, but there are occasionally mistakes in their credits.

i don't have the content page for that magazine anymore (i cut it up almost 20 years ago & stupidly didn't keep the contents page) so i can't check to be 100% certain on it being by Elgort, however, levangelista.net credits that cover to Elgort, & that makes much more sense to me - there's an editorial by Elgort in that issue called "Les Pois Sont Là!" with Christy Turlington & Linda Evangelista, & i'd say the cover was a shot taken from that shoot.

i'll attach a composite of my scans of that editorial so you can see what i mean.
