I haven't heard them live but I can tell already the Reason makes me sick with its corny lyrics, lol.

Her album is catchy, I listen to it a lot. But mainly because it's catchy, otherwise, I find her voice immensely annoying.

Did you notice, that when she recorded her record (Ashlee Simpson show, I watched it once) she had to do everything over and over and over again? If that's any indicator of how she can't sing, I don't know what is. She doesn't have the luxury of re-dos live, and she really needs it.

Yeah I watched the show too and that may be the case but she's also new to all this so I'm gonna give her a chance to prove herself! I mean I like her music just not live.. And on the show it seemed like her throat was always messed up and she had to go to the doctor, etc..

Even the most amazing singers need to do retakes. It happens. But with her it was ridiculous how many she had to do just to get it right once!

I have seen Ashlee live... and well, someone should remind her that vocal talent is not genetic.
Jessica Simpson's voice is actually quite decent. I think she ruins it by constantly wailing.

Eh, either way, they are lucrative cashcows to their father/manager.

Hm I'm a bit torn here. So far I've seen four of her live performances on TV and she's literally good half the time, horrible the next.

i like her, she may not have a jessica voice but she has a different voice, ala shirley manson, courtney love etc. its rockish, shes not trying to be as pop lovey as her sister.

i disagree...i think it's marketed so that if you buy both cd's, you're fooled into thinking there's two different people

weird, its like so many people I have talked about this too, thinks shes good, I am like what??? I think she's not a good singer. I honestly think the only reason she got a CD was becasue she's sisters with Jessica (someone who can sing!)
