how did she get her shoulder injury? I imagine she fell while riding no? and not to be nosy but doda's stepson? I thought that was his son as well, so it's really nice for them to take him in as well.

^Her shoulder injury is from a jumping accident from early June, in the week before the Cannes jumping. She fell off Ricardo, who is really one of her best horses, during an event in Bourg-en-Bresse. Anyway, she broke the bone and the recovery is expected to be 3 months, minimum.

About Doda's stepson, fernando, it's true that he lives now with Athina & Doda and Viviane. Fernando apparently wants to live in Europe, but..... I guess his mama, Cibele Dorsa, wants to stay in Brazil. That's what she said in a Brazilian paper. She says Fernando wants to become a football player in europe and that's why he lives with Doda. I know it's weird, but I think Viviane and Fernando are close, so it's nice for them to have each other. I don't know about the mother. I have had doubts about her for a long time, since all the stuff about Doda & Athina, and this makes me doubt her more. I try not to be judgmental, but I don't know why a mother lets her 11-year-old son go to live in europe and stays in Brazil..... So it is.. It's good that Fernando is with his sister and part of a good family life.

Athina seems to be a very good influence around just about everyone. She always struck me as a quiet, calm person with an aversion to drama. So good on her. I really like seeing pictures of her and seeing what a nice "normal" person she turned out to be.

26 June 2010: Athina, with right shoulder in a sling due to an injury earlier in the month, watches the Jumping de Monte-Carlo. With her, Alexa Pessoa, another rider whose husband is Rodrigo Pessoa, himself another rider and best friend of Athina's husband, Doda. Alexa, whose maiden name is Weeks, married Rodrigo in a ceremony in Connecticut on her parents' estate last September. Athina was part of the ceremony as a bridesmaid.

Now we have this treat... Athina, wearing a bikini, closed her eyes and leaned back to feel the wonderful sun rays... in the pool of Rio's four-star Hotel Fasano prior to her competition on the 1m45 jumps at her eponymous event, which is also this year's final phase of the Global Champions Tour.

Athina and Doda are getting lots of attention, I suppose because it's Brazil, kind of their home turf, and it is their event. And this year is soon to mark their fifth year of marriage!

She had 8 faults, was ranked #38 out of 50 places. Doda was #29. Athina had a good time. The 8 faults killed her. She made two mistakes that gave her four points each.

If so, it's a bit of a turn-around from her statement earlier this year, which was something along the lines of, "I'll never sell it."

Well, I'm from Greece and I would feel ashamed to sell such a beautiful island that meant so much to my grandfather..Let alone that her family is buried there..Anyway..Its her life and her property to decide.At the end she never comes to Greece so..
