i hate that i never can buy a DVD collection without getting at least one film i already have

But I bought the Audrey collection: Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sabrina and Roman Holiday. All of which I loved!

I love Breakfast at Tiffany's, and I hate "chick flicks", so I would like to think that it's not a chick flick .

well i think it's like art...it's so beautiful to watch, but i think that many ppl think it's a chick flick^^

and yeah i hate them too..but then again i love audrey so she can do whatever she wants, i still wanna watch her films

People could easily dismiss just about any Audrey movie as a chick flick (several of her films do have that girlish, romantic spirit to them) but luckily we are not ignorant enough to see them as merely that ourselves.

Additionally, it helps that Audrey is such a icon and so many of her films have become classics. One of the things that makes the term "chick flick" seem derogatory is the charge that such films have no substance, and that again is not the case with Audrey's films

Anyway, excuse the essay, I just hate when good films and people are dismissed and labelled as something they're not.

Paramount will be releasing a new Audrey Hepburn DVD Collection on October 2, 2007. The set will include:
The 2006 Anniversary Edition of Breakfast At Tiffany's
Sabrina
The 2002 Special Collector's Edition of Roman Holiday
Paris When It Sizzles
The new 50th Anniversary Edition of Funny Face, which will also be available separately the same day.

The set has a SRP of $36.99, but is currently listed on Amazon for $35.09. (Which comes out to about $7.02 per movie.)
PS. My Fair Lady is not in this set because Warner Bros., the original studio that made the film, owns the DVD rights under a license by CBS, who owns the rights to the film. CBS's corporate cousin King World owns the TV rights to the film. Paramount did release a VHS as part of their Audrey Hepburn Collection in 2001, but it's out of print now. All past video and laserdisc releases were released by Fox Home Video since CBS's home video output at that time was through Fox.
