btw does anyone know any other Audrey film that is really really worth watching besides breakfast at tiffanys?? Something thats not sad preferablyy

Sure! I love Sabrina, Roman Holiday and Charade. I didn't care for Funny Face or How to Steal a Million but I LOVED her clothes in How to Steal a Million. OMG! :woot: Her wellington boots and the white sunglasses and the lace eyemask were to die for.

^ I loved Charade- very suspenseful and funny. I also really liked how to steal a million- tohught it was very funny, and her outfits were great in that one (one of the charactors in the movie mentioned that her outfit was by Givenchy, though I don't know if it was all of the ones she wore or just that one)

I forgot about How to steal a million - it's def. one of her best imo!
Peter O'Toole and Audrey were brilliant together.

Omgg thanks Lol I'm spoiled with choices!! Thanks guys.. I watched a bit of my fair ladyy.. she talks funny but i know its supposedly part of the whole movie.. thanks I'm def watching all those movies you guys at TFS recommended!!!!!!

I really love Breakfast At Tiffanys, I think it's my favourite, but the first time I saw it I didn't like it at all..strange..now I adore it..just watching Audrey in her black dress..and also when she's singing moon river^^ aww..you gotta love that

kristina_zhou, my all-time favorite is "Roman Holiday." Definitely a must-see film, IMO.

The first time I saw it, I didn't like it either. Go figure. (But I also didn't like Gone With the Wind and then it became one of my favorite movies.)
Of course, I watched BAT again, and when Audrey came out of the bathroom and asked "how do I look?" I became a fan in that moment.

I liked it asthetically of course, but the story just bored me and I was really looking forward to watching it too.
I felt the same way, plus I thought Audrey being tagged a 'funny face' was insulting/ridiculous/etc. (Renting it I naively assumed the face they were referring to was Fred Astaire's )

Anyhoo, I just saw Paris When It Sizzles on TCM the other day and it was quite cute. Obviously no Breakfast at Tiffany's or My Fair Lady but a clever little movie (that even spawned a remake, Alex & Emma) with some cute Audrey moments :)

Haha.. ok.. thanks.. God.. so many cool films recommended !! I think Breakfast at tiffanys didnt really have a plot but I kept watching it over and over again.. because I think of Audrey? Haha.. I'm going to give everyone some Karma who recommended me these movies..

Thanks for the karma kristina_zhou! :flower:

I haven't watched BAT yet actually  I read the book by Truman Capote and while I loved the style of writing, the storyline didn't intrigue me enough. It's one of those hyped-up classics that I have yet to watch.

But I've seen other Audrey movies...War and Peace was okay, a bit too long, but Audrey always managed to light up the screen. And you can see her with her first husband too, Mel Ferrer ^_^

It is really funny how so many of us didn't really care for BAT. I actually felt the same way. My ex-bf watched it with me once, and he was like, "That movie was awful! It is so overrated!" (maybe that is why I dumped his booty! Haha.) However, he agreed that it wasn't the movie that was fantastic...it was Audrey and how she brought the character to life with her style and charm. I could watch Audrey in anything just because I love her so much. Heck, I could watch Audrey for hours even if she was just sitting in a chair, not speaking, and staring at a wall!

Yeah when I read the book I was like

But it's true that Audrey had that magnetism that was so pure and rare. Are there anybody left in the modern entertainment industry today who has that same charm? I'd say no....although I think Audrey Tatou is close :p

I thought I could post this here as well:woot: got this made for my mum's b-day

 Audrey:blush:
