SomethingElse, thank you so much! I have not finished reading the article yet (it is very long!) but I LOVE how they referred to Audrey as a newcomer! We have obviously never known her as such.

And THIS is the best quote from the article is the best I have EVER read:

Director Billy Wilder, who is slated to direct Audrey's second picture (Sabrina Fair), contents himself with a prophecy: "This girl, singlehanded, may make bosoms a thing of the past."

^ Audrey certainly epitomized the "New Look", imo. I so appreciate that Time has such an extensive archive of its publications. I'm having a lot of fun reading articles on the 'icons from the past' on tFS to gain a better understanding of the period in which they lived. I'm glad you enjoyed the article.

The Time cover is beautiful and even after all this time, I still can't believe that she got an OSCAR for her FIRST STARRING role (movie anyway)! She's just so fantastic. I love, love, love her.
