Her Faith Remained Strong and True
in the Face of Africa's Terrors!

'During the mid-1950s, Kathryn Hulme's novel The Nun's Story, based on
the true story of a missionary nun who after seventeen years had left her
order, caused quite a stir. Miss Hulme had been the chief of a UNRRA
camp for displaced persons in post-war Germany and the ex-nun had
wound up as a nurse in the same place. They became close friends and
Kathryn eventually wrote the bestselling book about her. The theme was
started by Hillel two thousand years ago: 'If I am not myself, who will be
for me? And if I am for myself alone, what am I? And if not now, when?'

That sounds great. I love it when cinemas play old movies. There are a couple of cinemas in my city that do that on a regular basis. Watching the movies on the big screen makes such a difference. I hope you have a great time, kochie. :D

Oooh that would be so wonderful!:flower:They will be so amazing on the big screen!

i have always wanted to see an old movie on the big screen :) and its not just a regular movie theater, its the kind of theatre that is made for live performances with balconies and red velvet seating. I know the atmosphere will make the experience that much better

EDIT: and speaking of Sabrina I just have to post pictures of Audrey wearing that gorgeous Givenchy dress

"Actress Audrey Hepburn and her fiance James Hanson are seen on the terrace of the actress' apartment in Rome, on August 25, 1952. Hepburn, who is currently filming the motion picture "Roman Holiday" in the Italian capital, announced her engagement to British businessman Hanson; the wedding is scheduled to take place in September at Huddersfield Parish Church in Yorkshire, England."
