While attending the ‘Thérèse Desqueyroux’ première, Audrey Tautou wore a special Prada duchesse cotton and organza dress, hand painted and embroidered with pieces of wood, crystals and brass."

Im just so in love with that dress. Ive always liked that length but never thought a short girl like me could pull it off but she does so maybe I could too.

Just wondering has anyone ever read any info on her likes or what is used on her make up or hair wise?

I hate rules like that. You can pull off anything if you have the confidence. I hear that stuff all the time that oh you're too short to wear that, and it annoys me, too, because I'm 5'4 but kind of small so I seem shorter. Audrey's 5'3" and I think that she manages to pull this off because she's thin in a way that makes her seem taller. But most of all you can see how confident she is and that makes it work. You can definitely pull it off, particularly if you feel good/comfortable in whatever you're wearing. Be sure to post pics when you find the right dress!

Miuccia probably made the dress for her (implied with the word 'special' from the press office statement) which is why the length and the proportions are perfect. I also love this length (it's so classic and will never go out of style).

Speaking of height, sometimes if a short celebrity wears a 'hot off the runway' dress of this kind, they tend to look swamped. It just seems lazy to me when the PR of a brand just sends the clothes over to the stylist without thinking of the celebrity's height or anything.

Does anyone know if she has anything else coming up? Any premieres or anything? Also loving her hair but wondering when she might opt for her short gamine style again... she always seems to go back to it & I really love her flippy sideburns & her unique combination of long bangs/baby bangs. Ive never seen anyone else with it. Is it french style or just Toutou style?

Cant wait!! I love her so much. She is my favorite actress I dont speak french so I watch her movies with subtitles but I dont mind. I love hearing her voice & her movies are wonderful.
