how can you find an old, slightly beat up designer bag? a birkin with a few nicks, a beat up balenciaga, a well loved, soft louis or goyard. fucntional, but far from impeccable. and i love how leather ages, too.

are their specific dealers, online or stores? reputable sales people?

i ove those bags, but i can't afford a new one and a used one is more my style anyway...i'm more converse than manolos!

If you ever go to Paris, there are lots of little shops (dépôts) selling authentic vintage bags and clothes, mainly in the 16th arr. and around the Palais Royal. Not cheap, but a lot of choice, and no fakes.
