Authenticating Bags

Hi fashionspotters. First of all I'd just like to say that this is a really fun and informative forum. I definitely learned a lot from lurking over the past month.

I have a question about authenticating bags (Specifically LV and Chanel). Do the retail outlets help verify a bag's authenticity if it wasn't purchased from them? If so, do they charge a fee and how much?

the LV shop here in Montreal verifies it and no there s no fee

I personally think they don't charge you for authenticating bags. There's this site called mypoupette.com , the site gives you info on LV bags.

chanel and lv stores do not charge to authenticate. if you have any doubtful bags youd like to confirm authenticity of, theyd be happy to help u
