Ava Gardner Earrings

All metal is gold-filled.

Introducing the Crystal Cocktail Collection featuring Swarovski crystals. Earrings created to echo the legendary 1940s Deco look. These are the styles made famous by Silver Screen Goddesses such as Rita Hayworth, Ava Gardner, Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich. Totally sophisticated and very fairytale, these "pieces" have been magnificently re-created in the very highest quality settings, with stones that take the breath away! However good they look here, in real life they're twice as glamorous!

Tribute to Ava
Hollywood’s legends from Elizabeth Taylor to Marilyn Monroe and Lauren Bacall all have inspired fine jewelry collections. To hail its comeback in the U.S. market, Spanish jeweler Carrera y Carrera has introduced its “Ava” collection in honor of American screen legend, Ava Gardner, a sometime resident of the brand’s hometown, Madrid, Spain. The tribute collection for Gardner consists of 18k yellow and white gold pieces decorated with shaded or polished filigree resembling lace. A bull’s horn shape derived from Gardner’s paramour, a Spanish matador, is the iconic shape used in the line. Retail price points range from $5,000 to $15,000. — Jeff Prine

Glam for Less
Oscar Fashion was dominated by the retro glamour of Hollywood's 1930s and '40s golden era. Tinseltown was teaming with dazzling stars hitting the Oscars red carpet in a cascade of jewels and lush, curvaceous gowns.

Musical siren Beyonce, best supporting actress nominees Laura Linney and Sophie Okonedo were among the first to arrive on the runway of the greatest fashion show on earth, bathed in an explosion of flashbulbs and cheered by fans. The return to Hollywood's heyday is inspired by the most nominated film of the year, Martin Scorsese's The Aviator, which has set a mood of lavish elegance in the style of the likes of Ava Gardner and Rita Hayworth.
