Paris Fashion Week Model Diary

Friday, Sept. 28, 8 p.m. At her apartment in the Ninth Arrondissement. Having just arrived from Milan, she checks her e-mails from her agency, which tell her exactly when and where her fittings and shows will be.

Saturday, Sept. 29, 12:30 p.m. In hair and makeup at the Viktor & Rolf show. The braids were part of the preparation: the stylists used a hot flattening iron on her braids so that when they were unraveled, her hair would be left voluminous and wavy.

Saturday, Sept. 29, 1:30 p.m. Leaving Viktor & Rolf. A beautiful day for a walk through the Tuileries with fashion bloggers and photographers following.

Saturday, Sept. 29, 3 p.m. Heading to the Jean-Paul Gaultier show. To better navigate Paris traffic she uses a motorcycle driver, which is so much faster than a car.

Sunday, Sept. 30, 3 p.m. Walking to her fitting for Vionnet at the Hotel Particulier. She’s in a super good mood and wearing her cool Hurley motorcycle jacket.

Sunday, Sept. 30, 3:30 p.m. At the Vionnet fitting. Her first look, pictured here, reminded her of something antiquated.

Sunday, Sept. 30, 3:45 p.m. At the Vionnet fitting.

Sunday, Sept. 30, 4 p.m. At the Vionnet fitting.

Sunday, Sept. 30, 5:30 p.m. On her way to the Saint Laurent fitting.

Monday, Oct. 1, 3:30 p.m. Heading to the Grand Palais for the YSL show. Having met with designer Hedi Slimane the day before, she was very excited — she loved the dress she was going to wear.

Wednesday, Oct. 3, 10:30 p.m. At home after the Miu Miu show. Her scarf is from the Indian part of the Himalayas. Her L-shaped couch is where she hangs out, watches movies on the projector with her friends and roommates and where guests sleep when all of the bedrooms are full.

Wednesday, Oct. 3, 11 p.m. Home after her last show at Miu Miu. She’d brought home two pastries from the backstage catering at the show — a raspberry tart and a chocolate cake — and ate them both
