A sun-bright issue entirely dedicated to film. Attending the Cannes Film Festival: Aymeline Valade, the French top model who embodies the persona of Betty Catroux in Bertrand Bonello’s already very controversial “Saint Laurent”, a film which is part of the Festival’s official selection. Lou de Laâge, for her lead role in Mélanie Laurent’s “Respire”. Mathieu Amalric, to represent “La Chambre Bleue”, a film that he directed himself. An independent Charles Gillibert also, who produced Olivier Assayas’ newest film “Sils Maria”, which is part of the Festival’s official selection as well.

As for Jonathan Glazer, he reinvents a vibrant and sensuously frightening Scarlett Johansson in “Under the Skin” and masterfully redefines the sci-fi genre. The issue ends with legendary Japanese photographer Hiroshi Sugimoto on the occasion of his exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo, “Aujourd’hui, le monde est mort”…
