Aymeline Valade

Her intensity and walk at Balenciaga was really impressive. Hope she'll show up in other good shows in Paris!

Completely in awe with her look after Balenciaga, her gaze and attitude is amazing, I honestly though she was an old school girl that have comed back:blush::lol:, she easily fits in the generation of Ann Catherine Lacroix  (another perfect Balenciaga girl)

Her streetstyle  ....so confident :crush:

This girl is a stunner  I remember marvelling at her distinctive bone structure and penetrating blue eyes while browsing through the Balenciaga collection. She sure thrived in the show but I hope she won't be labelled as the rocker chick and will get to prove her range as a model through her upcoming runway / editorial work (hopefully it'll pour in now that fashion week's over, I'd love to see that show-stopping face in magazines, would be a great way to balance with the softer, more child-ish faces that are to be seen in them aswell). Anyway I adore this laidback attitude of hers and how she radiates confidence. By the way how old is she? I quickly ran through her thread so I might have overlooked this information.

Btw, some stunning digitals, from Digital-Diamonds :

Well said Carla, there's such a deepness, intensity and at the same time that "méditerranéen facilité" in her look which will tanslate awesomely in print.

Her look at Balenciaga was absolutely genius, I feel like she should be in their campaign after seeing the HQ of her there. Her streetstyle pictures heighten my opinion of her as well, her glowy skin, and icy blue eyes are so cool, I agree completely about her fitting the generation of Ann Catherine Lacroix. And I have to shout that I am SO GLAD she got rid of the fringe, it took away from her picture perfect features.

I've subscribed to this thread quite a long time ago and I was so surprised that I haven't seen any notification after she walked Balenciaga! That's such a great news, her look's got finally appreciated in the right way, she really suits the brand

^Yes indeed! I think she is absolutely incredible. Really hope the momentum carries over strongly!

She has two editorials in the new issue of Wonderland Magazine. Here is just a small preview:

Albeit French models such as Sigrid Agren or Constance Jablonski have become forces to be reckoned with within the industry, France has hardly asserted itself as a topmodel-maker country over the most recent years. It's about time the tide turned if you ask me, and I am keen to believe that amongst the girls my terre d'origine holds in store for us, some of them will most certainly make this change happen once they burst onto the fashion scene. Amidst the few names popping into my head, the most recurring one has to Aymeline Valade's. Mediterranean-looking marvel is demurely self-confident, softly manly, aloofly entrancing, all rolled up into one ; a multi-edged talent for sure, who's actually been revolving around the modelling sphere for years without carving out a prolific high-end career. After getting stuck in the commercial field for several seasons, Aymeline seems to have (finally!) branched out and made her stamp on the high-fashion avenue, walking for Balenciaga last season and having two stories out in the new Wonderland issue. Yes, because however compelling these digitals above are, they don't even begin to do her malleability justice. Reeking of staying power and personality ; capable of swinging back and forth between sultriness and androgyny, elegance and toughness, glamour and affability with as much comfort as possible ; Mrs Valade has never been readier to transition away from low-key works into top-notch bookings and cement her status as France's uprising modelling sensation... grant her license to do so and her career will skyrocket.

Okay, this is going to seem like a weird comment but I think she should always always always wear her hair slicked back into a ponytail, she just looks a billion times more amazing to me that way.

^ Not weird at all, I definitely see the same. Those new shots are gorgeous, thanks cologne_rocks.
