Thanks for posting the showlist. She looks amazing in the Mega model video, her eyes . I can't wait to see what campaigns she"ll get :p.

^^ For the first time in my life I'll be putting money into Jalouse. :p Thanks for the info!

nirvanana I don't know what the fourth picture was taken for, but the other ones are from the Valisere campaign (click for the entire set), not certain what season it was for (F/W 2010?).

And thank you behansu! I never thought I'd say such a thing in regards to a mere casting video but this one is uh-mazing. Aymeline's got so much charisma, no wonder she's a strength both in print and on the runway. I'm wondering how her season will translate into campaigns, I'd love her to grab up Balenciaga, either only-girl or along with other Balenciaga models, like Freja and Delfine.

I've managed to sniff out some previous works of Aymeline's, I'm posting them both for record's sake and in case anyone's interesting in knowing what kind of modelling jobs she would do before hitting Ghesquière's runway last season. ^_^ Sorry in advance for the picture dump.

Thanks for the updates, Carla :flower:

She really has the presence of a sought after movie actress (just less washed-out).

She's like a modelesque version of Liv Tyler.

Sorry in advance for the picture dump.
I'm so glad you posted all of this! Thanks so much. :flower: I've been very curious to see Aymeline's early work since I know she's been around for a while now. Will be interesting to see how the aesthetics of her work changes now that she's been "discovered" as a "new face." Maybe less vavavoom, more jumping against a gray backdrop.

You're welcome guys!

Hell for a high fashion model this girl has a killer body and amazingly perfect, full breasts:blush: Seriously though she just embodies the word statuesque.
Her showlist could hardly have got any better tbh.
I hope she explodes from now, as she brings something different and a certain maturity to the business. A total departure to all these bland young girls.
Thanks for all the pics Carla.:flower:

^ You're welcome. ^_^

Well hopefully you guys don't mind me posting all those oldies because I've been able to track down yet another old work of Aymeline's! It dates back to 2009 and it was intended for the French digital publication More Madame. If I take it it only consists of a video. You can watch the trailer here and here are some pictures from the shooting:

Coming through with the Jalouse feature!

Nationality: French

Age: 24

How did you get started in modelling? Randomly. I used to skateboard by my motheragency every morning to go to work.

Your last modelling jobs? Shootings with Steven Meisel, Craig McDean, Josh Olins, Hugh Lippe, Boo George, David Dunan. This season I'm under an exclusive contract with Balenciaga and I shot the Alexander Wang campaign.

The person in fashion you're most grateful to? Nicolas Ghesquière. He's amazing, he's helped me out a lot.

What are you most complimented about? My eye color and my stare. I also happen to be said that I'm clever and funny.

How would you describe your personal style? I mix and match different styles together. My personal style is classic, minimalist, chic, hippy, dandy, street, modern all at once. All this not to say hipster.

Your favorite brands? Balenciaga, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Alexander Wang, Neil Barrett, Prada, Calvin Klein...

What do you like? Yogurts with honey, life, aperitifs at the Ile St Louis.

What do you hate? Leggings that are supposed to look like jeans, when I'm dished a huge piece of meat or fish and little to no side dish.

What kind of music do you listen to? Rock, classical music, jazz, electro minimal music, remixed 80's hip hop. Anything that's upbeat enough to skateboard or snowboard to.

What places do you frequent when you're in New York, where you work a lot? The Diner (85 Broadway, Williamsburg, Brooklyn) to have breakfast, the Cafe Gitane (242 Mott Street), perfect to chill out, the Evolution Nature Store (120 Spring Street), an intriguing oddity store.

Aymeline's also switched from FM to Select Models in London.

I noticed her because she opened LV and now after I read her interview in Jalouse I feel like I am in like with her. I like her maturity and edgyness.
oh, and i totally agree with her about mat and dish thing. It annoys me as well

You can see another interesting video production featuring Aymeline here:

Makes me think she'd be the perfect face for Armani Code Fragrance.... Darkly alluring.

And the interview is funny too. Love that she used to get to work by skateboard, it seems so ironical for some reasons! And she has something to her looks that makes black garments look so flipping good. Have you had the chance to meet her in Paris this season Carla?

^ Aymeline was the only model I actually wanted to meet, but I didn't unfortunately. Hopefully she makes it to the Couture shows in July so I'll get the opportunity to see her this time around!
