S/S12’s model of the moment, French sophisticate and skateboarding fanatic, Aymeline Valade took her camera with her on holiday to Montpellier in Southern France. From the inimitable simplicity of her style, her stunning surroundings, and a night out with friends, the images capture an intimate picture, a day in the life of an off-duty catwalk superstar.

I love Aymeline so much! She has an amazing personality and such a joy to be around. Her success is going to keep climbing.. Hoping for a Balenciaga campaign in the future because in my eyes she is the Balenciaga girl.

Love her Rag & Bone DIY pictures, it's the best set yet out of all the released ones from that campaign.

The Vogue Spain editorial doesn't really do much for me but I enjoyed reading the article even if I'm getting tired of her being typecast as the "old" model. I wonder if she was meant to be on the cover of that issue that she has an article and Maryna, who's on th ecover, doesn't? Maybe they didn't put her on the cover because she was already on the Harper's Bazaar Spain cover so recently?

Your words made me go one page backward and I wasn't disappointed. Usually ad campaigns leave as cold as a stone in winter time but this one really has something. As you say, there is a story we can imagine when looking at it. I wish it happened more often with glossy paper, emotions...
