Pete Doherty's Babyshambles announce UK tour
Band will play a string of dates in September and October

Babyshambles have announced details of a headline UK tour later this year.

Pete Doherty will hit the road with his bandmates in September for an extensive run which will involve gigs all the way into October. The shows are expected to see Babyshambles perform new songs from forthcoming new album. It was reported earlier this year that Pete Doherty has started work on a new Babyshambles album with producer Stephen Street, who produced the band's last full-length effort, 2007's 'Shotter's Nation'. Bassist Drew McConnell revealed the news to NME, explaining that while the sessions had initially been set for Doherty's second solo album, the album would be released as Babyshambles' third.

Babyshambles will play:

Leeds O2 Academy (6)
Manchester Academy (7)
Liverpool O2 Academy (9)
Lincoln Engine Shed (10)
Bristol O2 Academy (11)

Yeah, I couldn't even get through that song, Pete sounded awful, "out of tune" would be putting it mildly :(

God, yes. I love it when recorded songs sound a bit "raw", like The Libertines, but this one just sounds like a bad rehearsal, and it's a bit too repetitive for my taste.

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!! Babyshambles are incredible.
I entered a competition when I was younger and actually won! I received a Babyshambles tshirt in baby pink. Not at all what I expected but still fun.

Thanks for sharing! I love the first two and the fourth... and this video definitely sold me on the new album!
