I removed a spot of oil from a suede skirt baking soda. Pat in baking soda and brush off several times to get most of it out, then sprinkled some more on and left it overnight to get the remaining stuff out. However, the stain was very very fresh.
To be on the safe side I'd take it to a leather shop or a good shoe repair place. They might be able to get the stain out or dye the bag for you.
