ouch..that might cut ya :) lol
If I were you I would use a take out box and maybe use broken up cd pieces to decorate...rather then leaving them to hang...

sounds great . . but as i'm studying textiles the emphasis is more on creating something completely unrecognisable from 'rubbish' . . the takeout bag idea is really cute but it's not really much different from the original box

as for juicebox bags . . everyone is making one and it really isn't too original

i have actually made some samples using broken up cds and it looked gorgeous and they aren't too sharp . . i can always file them
:innocent:

Why not using natural fibers?
Palm trees seem to have some woven-fabric thing on their tops ..you could saw them!

Personally it seems around where I live that everyone "makes" purses..I'm kinda sick of it lately. But the cd purse seems to me that it would be lovely. hehe I want one. :flower:

my friend has a bannana ketchup bag. funky stuff. i was thinking you could use resin and anything to make a lucite-like purse with stuff in it.

a nursery ? a botanical garden ?
I'm sorry! Silly me had the idea that everyone has access to palm trees! (Just because here you can get palms everywhere!)

 you think i should buy one then?

I think the cd idea sounds great. I entered a challenge last year sponsored by Red Bull that had to use 100 cans of their product. I made payettes out of the aluminum. I wanted to make a Paco Robanne style dress but really didn't have the time. I know an artist that makes bags out of innertubes, no, not the typical Little Earth ones. We have some awesome metal bags in the store I work in from another artist, Natalie Mcluggage. She has a website, I will try to find it so you can see them.

Try to make one out of tires! I thought of something looking like a boat, or banana, with some grafitti, maybe in red...
I guess the only problem will be findin' a tire which is light enuff  But I guess you could manage, :P

I'm doing a similar project in my experimental handbags class. Kinda weird.
