Yikes, didn't know that, thanks for the info! In that case I suppose it was a strategic move to lend her the clothes knowing how much press she'll get. Actually not lend, because I also heard she's a paying customer.
Her music is so, I dunno, well let's just say it's not to my liking. I thought the immaculate taste of the French extends beyond just fashion, food and art. .

Her music in France is like miles away from her music in the USA/Rest Of The World. Her french albums are very "french" in a way. Her OTT ways seems very "American" for us.
Let's say that everybody have their bad taste even if i wouldn't consider Celine Dion bad taste.

Her Balenciaga looks did get a lot of press, just like her wearing the Vetements "titanic" hoodie.

It will be interesting to see how Demna will interact with the celebrities at Balenciaga since most of NG & AW supporters left with them.

I love the layout of those double spreads, it let's you see the whole silhouette in detail and it's a sure way to capture the readers attention. I'm probably biased because it was my favorite collection but I love this images.

At first I was a little bit disappointed with this campaign but this just keep getting better and better. They really want to focus on the clothes which is great. Wang's campaigns were about certain mood but these images are actually selling the clothes which is quite refreshing.

It seems Balenciaga did a similar double page 'anticipation' ad as Saint Laurent to pre-empt their main campaign. I saw it in US Vogue and it looked so vague that I flipped past it more than two times. Theirs is a man (or a woman, with ugly feet), covered with an unironed white bedsheet. Looks like it was shot by someone from the Zoe Ghertner/Cass Bird fold.
