See, it's a joke cause you know the price tags are gonna go crazy here but it is what regular young people look for and wear on the daily. They'll buy it on Shein or any given retail store that carries a street line for a couple bucks and achieve a virtually identical look without effort. So who's this really for? Rich kids who go for the same style but wanna feel better about it? Looks 68, 70, 73 annd 75 are particularly funny, cause if you're Eastern European you know that this is how most men of all ages have been dressing like for the past 20 years, and they all definitely prefer to buy the more expensive and recognisable activewear brands as a sort of status symbol but those prices are still fairly accessible and it's a whole different thing. Anyone who's remotely fashiony does know to avoid the look like the plague cause it'd be embarrassing to be caught in that in public. So is it all satire, is it truly philosophical? To what end? It's kind of fascinating. But at the same time alarming because aspiring designers do get influenced by his work, local peers from my fashion uni have received a lot of recognition from building their initial branding in this direction. Young people eat this sh*t up. Hell, I see myself in look 18. But a global luxury brand selling the street aesthetic of the low to middle class... it's not new. He's been doing this for a long time now. But just how does it work out in the end? I can't connect the dots.
Horrid collection anyways
