HOMME AT LAST: Eight years after launching Balenciaga men’s wear, Nicolas Ghesquière is giving it its own advertising showcase. The debut campaign, showcasing the fall collection, is to be unveiled on Tuesday on balenciaga.com and break in September issues of magazines including L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Homme Japan and Arena Homme Plus. Josh Olins photographed model Marton Dorfler for the men’s spots. Also on Tuesday, the French house is slated to post its women’s advertising campaign, photographed by Steven Meisel and starring a fleet of young models, which will follow in September issues.

Looking forward to seeing more of this campaign!

Great for Josh  he would be a perfect fit for the womenswear ads too. This is great news, big houses are moving on to new talents!.

I find that male model rather unattractive but those are still such strong images. I agree that Josh Olins seems like such a great fit for Balenciaga campaigns, excited to see more, too.

Woah . Such a powerful set of photos! Olins would indeed be perfect for womenswear and this has me wondering what new creativity he'd bring to the ads.

The second shot`s expression is a bit off key for me. Lighting is really good.

So happy for Josh`s break!

what's odd is that i love that his eyes are closed something is striking about that but nothing else.

So good, from a selling point and as photography too (the color composition, aah!). Haven't been this excited for a Balenciaga campaign in years!

Reminds me of David Bowie / The Man Who Fell To Earth!

It does have a Bowie feeling to it, doesn't it? :D
