Ballet flats

Thanks for letting me know, leyla. I think I'll just forget about them then and focus on getting a pair of Lanvins (which I really want!).. :D

I've also been looking at these flats from Pedro Garcia. They're incredibly comfortable, but the glitter on the front doesn't feel like "me" and I think they're too "pretty" for my style. If they were plain I'd buy them in a heartbeat though. (They cost $440.) I don't know what to do yet..

These are my moms pair. (That's why you can see the blue Scholl sole inside which I btw can recommend. I have a pair as well and it's like walking on clouds!) I took the photos with my Krzr phone so that's why they're pretty bad but you get the idea.

Btw - I don't have a huge scabby thing on my foot. I fell and bruised it really bad. Hehe. Blame the alcohol</3... Anywhoo....

Yeah, leyla.. I'll wait for the Lanvins. *swoon* Hehe! <3

I don't know if any of you is interested in the marc jacobs mouse flats but luisaviaroma.com has this at 80 euros in white just saying...

I love those mouse flats in #2084,

But, I don't know, maybe too young for me...but I like them..

I've been wondering, what's so special about Lanvin ballet flats? I know they've got some sort of padding to make them more comfortable, but most flats have that nowadays and cost less than $550. I saw the shoes in person and found them to be less than what I hoped for.

I've been wearing my Repettos as houseslippers as of late.

The girls here in France are now slowly switching back to heels (thank goodness) and I'm liking what I see. The stores are all crammed with the cutest tailored chunky heels and lovely patents...swoooooon

You have to try them...I just stumbled upon them and did not think they were any thing special but I wanted flats so I tried them on...AMAZING! They are probably not worth $530 but nothing is worth its price now anyway so I figured why not. They are not for every one though I can see why you would not want to spend so much on flats :flower: Personally I think they are worth it but to each his own...

it's not just the padding that makes them comfortable, it's the buttery leather too. they really just are the most comfortable flats I ever had. they're not 100% perfect, but the closest to it I've experienced.

plus, for me personally, I like the simplicity of them. I think they're understatedly (is that a word?) refined.

I wish Lanvin would do the elasticated ballet flats in exotics again - I'd love some in Lizard or better still croco. Any Lanvin insider lurking with info on up coming cruise colours?

Thank you for your thoughts on the black Belle's:heart:

Ciao Bella!

I just bought ballet flats and they're giving me blisters...anyone else have the same problem? Is it because they are new and I have to wear them for a bit to make them comfortable?

Yes, you just have to break them in :flower: Put band aids where you are getting blisters and soon it will stop hurting

This is the case with most ballet flats (or any shoe, really), and like already stated, you just have to break them in. It's no fun getting blisters, so hopefully your flats will become more comfortable soon.
