Ballet flats

I first saw Lanvin flats IRL last week and I have to say I was very unimpressed. They looked great from a distance but they felt terrible. The sole was too hard and they sooo didn't feel worth 500$.. I'd rather buy three Repetto's!
I own a pair of the black leather Lavins and the Patent mary jane Lavin flats and neither one has hard soles, in fact I never had to "break them in" I wore them straight from the box to a party and my feet loved them:heart::flower:

What do you all think of these Lanvin flats? I sort of like them better then the traditional ones...they're more structured. That's more my look.

^ I like 'em, Salome :flower: I don't remember the label, it wasn't Lanvin, but some years ago I had a pale gold kidskin pair with the toe-shoe box like that--I loved them and wore them to death. It would also prevent the problem with Lanvin ballets where sometimes you can really see your toes through them :ninja: I don't like that :innocent:

Thanks for the feedback! Ta-ta, I have the same issue with the Lanvins! I hate seeing my toes. I'll have to see if these are carried around here or not. And if they fit into my stretched budget - well that depends on if I ever find a new winter coat that's worth a good investment.

i have big feet--so i have shied from the ballet flats--- any tips top avoid getting 'man feet' ?

gia - I'm size 40 Italian, and only Lanvin flats look good on me

if I could only afford them... they look gorgeous, much more polished than a typical pair- considering they are already Lanvin

I have a pair of Repetto's that I'd like to get zipsoled. The problem is that I've already worn them twice. Does anyone know if it's still possible to get the rubber bottoms on them if there's a little dirt and wear already? Is it even necessary with Repetto's?

I wasn't originally going to worry about them, but I've noticed that the prices have gone up a lot since I got my pair. I think I paid $120, and now I see them going for around $180!

You can definitely do it after you've worn them already, I get impatient and wear my new shoes before I get them zipsoled all the time, lol.
