The Repettos are beautiful and those red chloes are awesome!!!

I love ballet flats because they are so girly and pretty! ...that´s about all i wear at the moment and for the last year! Finally some shoes that i love!
I can´t wear heels as i can´t walk in them, so ballet flats are my choice!

i saw a few pairs in Nordstorms today.

Is anybody else having trouble finding simple ballet flats in stores lately? I've been searching for a pair like these for over a month now. They don't seem to have them anywhere (and I can't buy online).



They were everywhere last year.

Well i just received them today and in a box that says 38.0 there were shoes that said 37.0, so i'm exchanging for a 38.0 which is my size. However, i'd say they run somewhere between true to size and maybe even a teeny weeny bit bigger, the 37s were definitely not tight or killing my feet but since they are so soft you could see the toes bulging through the leather a bit so i'm getting a 38.0 (hopefully they'll send me the right hting this time), i could def. get away with a 37.5 but don't wanna take my chances, they have those adorable ties so i know if they're slightly bigger they won't fall off my feet while i walk. I highly recomment htem forever, i put them on and din't wanna take them off. They are very comfortable, something you could practically live in if the weather permits, the leather is so soft and buttery, and i love htem in red, they really stand out (in a good way).

And I also really adore all the Repetto flats I've seen so far - but yeah, I've never seen them in shops either, and I dunno if I want to get them through a japanese website. I don't know if I would know how to do that.. (blush) Besides, it's best to try stuff on first.

Anyone know where to get Repetto in London??? I'm going in May.

Thanks NY City Girl. I ordered the black in a 37 last night from intermixonline. I hope I get them. I'm a bit concerned because most of the boutiques seem to be sold out. I called the Chloe boutique (also sold out), and the SA there told me that they are running a bit big as well. Your red ones are gorgoues! I'd love the Lanvin in red (or violet), otherwise I would order the Chloe's in red. Btw, anyone know where I can get the Lanvins? TIA.

Me too...I love the violet..satine boutique will have the violet for fall and currently they have few pair in the store. From what i remember they have yellow, gold and black. You should give them a call and see what's available. luisaviaroma also carry them but the only a few sizes left. Hope this help.

Thanks kimisin. I tried Satine, but they only had yellow and python turquoise (Does that sound right? -- I can't remember). I checked LVR too, but they are sold out of my size. I was actually able to find both the Chloe ankle tie in black and the Lanvin in violet satin today. I can't wait to get them. I also tried the Chloe flats in red. They are just darling. I'm tempted to get them too. Yikes. Have to slow down.

Cinderbellas, congrats and enjoy. Where were able to find the lanvins? I can't find them anywhere, i'm not even sure which boutiques in New York carry them, i get the feeling they are only available in LA.

I just purchased my very first pair of ballet flats.... cream satin with silver trim by London Sole. Oh they are ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!! However..... with the shoes came a note saying they should be used for light wear only? Indoors and for parties and holidays. Now I am frightened to wear them out of the house.

Seriously, do not worry about it! I have a pair of leather French Sole and I've worn them all over for absolutely ages, the sole is still as good as new. My only concern would be that yours are cream satin, which will definitely get dirty quickly if you don't take care of them. But other than that, French Sole are in fact incredibly sturdy!

For those interested, I've seen black leather, and purple, blue and green satin Lanvin flats at Harvey Nichols in London. Hope this information is still correct!
