saks didn't carry lanvin shoes before....but my sa said they will be getting them in, but haven't yet.

well, i called saks NYC both yesterday and today- they told me they don't carry lanvin. I don't always trust that SA's know the stock. perhaps misunderstood something. Which saks did you get yours at?

maybe they haven't responded since the fall flats are not in yet.
i would say wait a few more weeks and try again.
if i hear anything, i will let you know. i want a few more pairs as well (brown and violet) so i am looking as well.

he knows i love lanvin and told me they should be getting them in for fall, and are doing inventory this month.

fyi.....he also said saks ny might be getting balenciaga as well!

The one on 5th Avenue. My SA in Philly. Call/sent them to me from there. they just started carrying Lavin in their shoe department as of Fall

My receipt said the 5th Ave store because I had them shipped because then no tax that way. I am not sure if I just got the pre-fall stuff or what.

ok.....but are you sure you want to size up with the satin? I have both satin and leather (all 39s) and find that the satin actually runs larger. has anyone else experienced this?
the leather fit a bit snug, but stretch....while the satin and patent do not stretch. If anything, I think I could have sized down with the satin.

Umm... I think it doesn't really matter. Size 37 or 37.5 will be fine!
