I know there must be a ton of you girls from New York, so I was wondering if anyone has any flats from Scoop's own line of flats? If so, please post any information regarding size (do they run small/large?), durability and any other info. Thanks a lot! :flower:

surfer - love your lanvins! thanks for sharing - now we have to 'find' those navy patents ;)
glad u didn't have to buy from ebay!

Surfer - where did you find the Lanvin? They are beautiful.

I got some Nine West ballet flats recently when I was wearing heels that were killing me and I needed something comfortable to finish shopping. They are really cute and comfy.

lanvin ballet flat

FYI - I got a phone call yesterday from the shoe salesperson at fred segal santa monica that they got a whole unexpected shipment of the black leather lanvin ballet flats. So call soon if you are interested....Joy was the one who called me, but I have another pair on order and could not indulge twice. Good luck!

^ how much does a pair usually run for? I've only seen them on ebay & they seem to be sold way over retail. I'm not sure I can indulge @ the moment either, I just purhcased a pair of Christian Dior buckle ballet flats that I can't wait to get! I'll have to post pics as soon as they arrive. Can't wait! :)

queen bee, i saw some soft black Repetto flats irl and i think you should check that brand out. they're kind of a matte leather, like the pink ones that runner just posted.

i got myself a pair of black Anne Valerie Hash satin ballet flats and i'm so in love with them. :) they look so classy! they're not the soft pliable ones though but they look dressier that way. can't find pics online as of the moment...:p

they usually run about $500.00. I just purchased the patent black and they were 525.00.

Those Lanvin flats are soooooo pretty.

I was wondering if anyone knows how cushioned and supportive the soles are, like can you feel every step in your joints when walking on pavement or are they kind to your feet? If they are very thin I could always use insoles.

I can't decide if I like leather or satin better...a lot of the pics I see with celebrities wearing them they are wearing the satin ones but you'd think those would wear out quicker and leather would be more practical.

I'm craving those gold satin ones but I'm not sure if I can pull off gold, I'd probably go with black.

Lanvins actually have this little cushioned arch so they're not completely flat flats. That's what makes them so a bit different from other ballet slipper-like flats. I'm also getting zipsoles put on to help with wear. Personally I think the leather would be more durable but never experienced the satins before. Do the satins run small like the leathers and do they seem to get dirty? I think the golds would look nice. They don't seem to be really bright.

Ooo...sounds good. I would definitely get zipsoles too, I plan to do that with all the shoes I buy from now on. I think it'll make them easier to walk in too, especially the heels, I won't be afraid of slipping and falling on my face, lol. ^_^

Definitely! I originally didn't get them for my CL ballerinas and they are sooo slippery. Better late than never though and just those done also.
