The thing I just adore about the Lanvins are how they look like slippers and even feel like them, but they're super-durable and you *don't* feel every tiny thing that's under your foot. The bottom of the shoe itself is flat, but the inside is built up--there's both arch support and a slight lift under the heel. It's what makes them so practical and comfortable even though they're rather delicate looking.

how much are you gals paying for these lanvin flats?? 600 dollars? where in the world are you getting this money?

i was asking myself the same question

^ those are kinda cute. I don't know how they'd look on though. I'll have to try those on next time I'm @ the GAP. Thanks for posting 'em!

LOVE these, I have the black ones from Gap.

^ they're actually a gap online exclusive

well that sucks! I hate buying anything without trying it on, well only if I'm not 100% sure I'll like them. I just don't know about the arch part that's cut out. Maybe I'll just hold off, I'm expecting my Christian Dior ballet flats in the mail soon....eeeeeee, I can't wait!

FYI - I got a phone call yesterday from the shoe salesperson at fred segal santa monica that they got a whole unexpected shipment of the black leather lanvin ballet flats. So call soon if you are interested....Joy was the one who called me, but I have another pair on order and could not indulge twice. Good luck!

Can you please tell me where is the store? What store is it? Do they ship International? I'm so desperate for black leather lanvin flats!
PLEASE TELL ME!!!

Thank you!

I know just what you mean, missbliss, I'd like to see those gaps with the arch cutout on some feet first, and preferably my own :)

the grey ballet flats by Gap are so cute. I want them! Why don't they ship to Europe? That's too unfair. I like the cut of the flats. I have a smiliar red pair of ballet flats with the same cut.

mary jane...
welcome to tFS...

Please read our guidelines and familiarise with them...
you need to post accurate credits for all your images unless they are pics you took yourself...
did you take those yourself..?

Repetto

I have ALSO been wondering where to buy Repetto shoes online!! I fell in love with a few pairs of Repetto flats featured in the September 2004 Teen Vogue (I tore out the pics and put them in a collage to remind myself to look for the shoes). Ever since I saw those shoes, I've been longing for them, and Googling and Googling ^_^...for a respectable online store (I don't want to submit my credit card info at any old place, if you know what I mean).

Suffice it to say that I am still searching, but here is one online store that I've heard of before. None of the shoes featured makes my heart skip a beat, but for those who were looking for Repetto flats, here you go:

I would still like to know of other places to buy online!!
