Ballet flats

could someone please list all the different colours for the patent lanvins? Are the price different from the leather to the patent?

I'm not the best person to answer but I'm sure someone else can improve on the list or give you exact names for the colours, i.e. "lipstick red" or whatever, but I've seen or heard of them in patent:

- black
- brown
- green
- grey
- navy (very close to black)
- red
- turquoise

Hopefully somebody else can add to the list or name all the colours.

Also, what do you guys think of the pink leather? Are they a must-have or just another colour? I kinda like them because they're obviously a traditional ballet shoe colour but they also seem to blend into the feet and not stand out much. Which could be good or bad, I'm not sure yet. I gotta be picky with my expensive shoe purchases.

Hmm. That's true. But I'm trying to dissuade myself from them, cause i know when the weather turns cold i'll just want to swath myself in thick woolens and not emerge till spring. i'm not sure i'll be concerned about looking cute.

I have/ have seen leather flats in the following color
Violet, forest green, turquoise green, gold, black, yellow, navy, brown, camel, pink, grey.

I don't know about the pink ones...they are obviously very cute but for some reasons, I like them, but not so sure.

The ones I've listed are all patent. I don't know what seasons they're all from though, that's just what I've come across on various websites and ebay. Here's some pictures of the green patent, I think an ebay seller called it apple green.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. It seems like they would get dirty easily because they're so light, and logic tells me I should save my money (I bought a black and a silver/gold leather pair already) but I also love how they look so much like real ballet slippers. I could get 'em from the U.K. but I'd have to pay duty and taxes on $471.60...that's U.S. dollars too...

I think they're cute. I usually prefer shoes that are less busy, but that's just me. I'm not a LV expert, but I've purchased from the seller, mushroom city, and she only sells authentic items. She's wonderful too!

I think the pink/nude ballet slippers are adorable. I considered them at one time, but I felt the same way about the dirty factor. If they were patent, they would probably be easier to clean although not sure if they come in that.

i can't believe some of you spend so much money on ballet flats. i wear real ballet slippers outside. the sole is very thin, but it doesn't really matter. they feel good (very comfortable) and they look good. plus, they are much cheaper than most other ballet slipper lookalikes.

^^ they do have forest green - leather (not patent) at barneys - very nice!

surfer - that is too bad about the navy being so close to black - they are beautiful though and maybe they are more versatile b/c you can wear them as either navy or black.
