Beautiful. I just got the new green leather & they are lovely as well. The leather is exceptionally nice on the green - better than the other three pair I own.

Good to know that the quality on the leather is still great if not better! I still am dying for a pair of the gold satin ones that are no longer available, or I would take gold leather. I have a pair of the nine west ones, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE and they were cheap, but I would love a Lanvin pair as well for dressier occasions

evelle - those look good to me, that is the new lanvin box for winter. but check stores first before you pay too much on ebay. a lot of stores are carrying lanvin and they are not 100% sold out.

whitelinen and ojodeazul19- those aren't chocolate - they are black patent. the choc. patent is a different leather, not as shiny as the black and navy patents for winter. the choc. was not winter and had a different inside label and the old black box.
they def. do look a bit like choc. color in the pic though - perhaps the lighting?

My chocolate patent had the blue box.

Before, elschic111 said these were the "Shelbi", but when I was on the Nine West website, it didn't have anything called "Shelbi", but it did have these look-alikes called "luvmyflats" - are they the same thing? I think they are really cute, and for $39.99, why not?

My chocolate patent had the blue box.

yes - but they are milk chocolate, correct?
the dark chocolate brown was a fall color, while milk chocolate is a winter color (and in the blue box).
i just meant that the pic posted - was black patent, b/c the patents in the fall have a different finish than the winter, and the winter choc. patent is not as dark - and would not be mistaken for black or vice versa.

Nooooooooooooo, no, no, no. IMO, the luvmyflats are awful! I would give the Shelbi's a try though. I was definitely only talking about the Shelbi's.
