Ballet flats

Guys,

are lanvin flats really worth the $$? what makes them so fabulous beyond other flats? im in love with the black and red patent ones but i dont know whether or not it will be worth it. I've heard some negative things about them and that they are not worth the $$. So what is it that really makes people buy them? I mean looks wise, i think they are divine but black patent ones at least that look like lanvin are readily everywhere, can you tell when people are wearing lanvins compared to another brand?

regarding the lanvin flats... i've been undecided forever, as they didnt really seem worth the money (plus i have this thing on not spending lots of money on flats) but then i decided i couldnt resist on buying the mary janes ones... and i dont regret it. they're versatile and fun (and that might be a common thing among flats) but they really are the most comfortable shoes ever. i think that's what makes them worth the money (to me)

I didn't purchase from their page, but I do have a pair by prettyballerinas and they are quite comfy and true to size. Hope this helps you!

Are lanvin flats good for city walking? If I get them zipsoled? I know the sole is quite thin, but generally are they comfortable enough to walk blocks? also where can you buy repetto shoes, anywhere online? or even in stores in the US? I have never seen them sold anywhere

repetto are for sure online on mytheresa.com, yoox sometimes has it up... and im pretty sure i've seen em instore at saks. but i might be wrong

as for the lanvins, they're perfect for city walking, i wear them all the time (and i mean the streets in rome are terrible) im getting mine resoled i think cause after a few months of continuos wearing the sole is a bit ruined...

I definitely say Repetto for flats! They're so comfortable and lovely.
I've had to get mine re-soled a few times now, but they're still so gorge...
(I wore them in the rain, that's why they broke...)

I want these Repettos anyone know where I can find them??

Thanks again! :) You def. gave me something to think about... :shifty:

This is probably the tenth time I've asked this...
But where do they have the best Lanvin flats selection in London?

London - Harvey Nicks.

I've got a pair of gold Lanvin flats, size 39 but the heels hurt me a bit so I think i'm going to have to let them go. Has anyone got the patent ones, are they true to size?
TIA

I am a huge fan of Lanvin flats! Just got these - so comfy :D

Babypink920, Canadian shop gravitypope.com have those Repettos in black, but not patent. They also have a heeled version in patent black.

thanks for that! I just got my red patent lanvins today...oh my god I see the fuss now! By far the most comfortable shoes I have ever tried on in my life. I never want to take them off
