the mens clothing is good but the womens clothing is just bad
That grey trench coat on Abbey Lee looks divine! Easily my favorite thing here. I think the styling is a bit hit or miss but these look like useful classic pieces typical of Banana Republic. Not bad.
I love BR but geez do they stick to the same (winning) formula.
that ankle-length blue/white dress looks completely out of place..
the silk pieces really stand out to me, like the navy anorak...
i am not a fan of denim on denim though...
well, this is a big joke. everything i saw is already available since at least 2 years in the first clothes shop i can find. this is so common, simply insipid.
Wow, such harsh judgment. It seems quite right for Banana Republic and the customer that typically buys the brand, imo. The styling is bit try-hard but the pieces themselves are very nice, the silk pieces in particular. Idk, I always find really lovely things whenever I go into Banana Republic. Great, affordable basics that are still inline with the times. Also, the jewelry is INSANELY good these days, esp. when its on sale for next to nothing.
Ok! BR needs to slow their role with all the denim.... A little too much denim can be over faded.
they might as well just send me a new card. there's nothing major here, but everything here would look perfect with the appropriate designer accessories to spice it up and that's what they're all about: great basics.
cute, casual, classy pieces....what i've come to expect from banana republic. that satiny trench looks gorgeous
I really love a lot of this... wonderful colors...
I was in the store today and saw some of the Monogram pieces... great shades of pink.
i love it!!
They had some really nice silk scarves this season... one in particular that I liked was purple and white plaid... can't seem to find it on their website, though.
For those who complain it's a lame collection; Banana Republic isn't made for creating groundbreaking ideas or new, never-seen-before lines. It's a nice ready to wear brand with great stuff. And I like it.
^ Yes. Very true...
I actually liked the latest styling.
