To deflate any accusation of sexism, Sean Combs announces that an I Am Queen perfume will follow next in the fall of 2009.
The ads for I Am King point to stereotypical images of success and happiness for the dominant male. They are replete with status symbols. There are lots of cool gadgets, women escorts (Bar Rafaeli and Ana Paula), and means of luxurious transportation. The universe of reference is the sleek atmosphere of James Bond movies, which makes you realize maybe Sean Combs thinks it's high time someone saw his potential as the next universal movie-screen playboy (he will be playing in a new movie, unnamed so far).

Thanks to the huge success of Unforgivable for Men, Diddy is launching a new fragrance – I Am King.
“I Am King is a statement about all men,” Diddy tells WWD. “We are all descendants of royalty – and if we carry ourselves and respect ourselves in that manner and believe in ourselves, then we are all kings.”
The accompanying ad campaign, which will launch in September, features a dapper Diddy with gorgeous models in such exotic locations as Saint-Tropez, the French Riviera and Monte Carlo.
The name builds on Diddy’s current Sean John men’s line, which has a classic, royal theme.
“You have to look at all of the images they have out about African-Americans,” he explains. “So when you see this image, you need to understand it’s bigger than the fragrance, it’s bigger than me.
“When a young African-American male or a young Latino male sees this image, they see this elegant sophistication and they see I Am King next to it – it hits their senses and they believe; that’s what motivates me when I’m taking pictures.”
He finishes: “Yeah we definitely do wear jeans that sag off our ***, we definitely like our music loud, but we’re also very intelligent, very smart – you know, as they say about Barack Obama, we’re also very articulate. Yes, we speak well and we can also wear tuxedos. And we also smell good.”

The site describes Refaeli as an "Israeli international model" and showers her with compliments while listing the campaigns she took part in and the awards she has received. It doesn't mention Dicaprio anywhere.
And indeed, over the last two months, Refaeli has become a hot item in her own right. Regardless of Leonardo Dicaprio, everyone wants to know who she's modeling for, where she's hanging out and especially how scantily clad she is in photographs. One of the foremost American gossip Websites "Splash" posted a revealing photograph of Refaeli with the caption "Bar Refaeli is smokin' hot ? Gisele who?', referring to Dicaprio's former supermodel girlfriend Gisele Bundchen. A short blurb explains that the picture was taken on the beaches of San Tropez, by paparazzi who made the long trip just to capture Refaeli's image.
Recently, Refaeli was photographed for the second year in a row for the prestigious annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, an honor reserved for only the top echelon of supermodels. Alongside a gallery of 50 photographs of the Israeli model, the magazine's Website offers an in depth interview with Refaeli, in which she is asked "If [you] could be anywhere else in the world right now, you would be?" to which she replied "I don't want to be anywhere else. I'm in L.A. right now and I love it."
There is also a page dedicated to Refaeli in the biggest American movie database IMDb, which offers photos and mentions her short-lived television career in the Israeli telenovella "Pick Up".
