Bar Rafaeli has revealed she's so concerned about the environment she picks up litter off the street to recycle.
The 23-year-old model - who is dating Hollywood star and fellow environmentalist Leonardo DiCaprio - is fronting Corona's Save The Beach project to promote clean beaches.
Bar revealed: "When I go to the beach I always clean up after myself and I clean around me too - what other people forget. The plastic bottles I even take home and recycle.
"I raise the awareness in my family to recycle so much, that whenever they see cans lying down in the street they will take it home and take it to recycle."
The Israeli model is keen to encourage people to support the Corona Save The Beach project by buying specially designed beach bags to raise money for the campaign.
She said: "I believe in the cause because my life revolves around the beach, it's my life. I'm always around the beach and I come from Israel and we have beautiful beaches. That's my hanging out place. And it's very unfortunate with what's going on in the world that the pollution and the oil and what's going on in the ocean destroys the coral and that means we don't have any more sand.
"I'm here to basically raise awareness for people to keep the beaches clean and make sure they recycle and make sure they use a recyclable bag when they go to the beach and keep their environment safe."
Visitors to www.coronasavethebeach.org can vote for the beach they most want to see cleaned in 2009.
