I was planning to stay away from Barbara's thread until she matured a bit more, but I must say...despite the relatively young age, and saying nothing as to the general taste of VS, I am really loving her for the brand. VS has become so fixated on high fashion girls, and has lost (in my opinion) a real sex appeal. Forgoing more womanly models for the de rigueur beanpoles removed the aspirational quality of the VS catalogues for young women. Barbara's natural, feminine and healthy physique is inspiring to see on their pages. I hope her popularity will signal to them a need to return to classic, timeless female beauty. She recalls a young Laetitia Casta, for me. Let's just hope they don't spray tan her and lighten her hair.
