There are some models whose faces are so beautiful that you’re a little transfixed looking at them. Case in point: Hungarian Barbara Palvin (IMG). Those lips, those eyes, and then the fact that as soon as the camera came out, Barbara—for lack of better words—worked it, even at 11 AM on the final day of ‘Fashion Month.’ Tom Pecheux’s precise liquid eyeliner and Orlando Pita’s wispy braided coif, for Tadashi Shoji, seemed designed for Palvin. My money’s on a major beauty contract for this girl…and sooner rather than later, please!

i try to translate some interesting parts of her newest blog post on glamouronline.hu, sorry for the quality:
so she met Karl Lagerfeld at the Chanel fitting, and when she saw him, she fell a crying, so they had to correct her make-up. and then she went to Lagerfeld, he stood next to her, smiling at her and held his hand and said: "My name is Karl Lagerfeld. Where are you come from?"

at the show, she heard that she is the favorite model of Coco Rocha's husband (James Conran).
she wasn't nervous on the runway, and after the show, she had to go back to the backstage like Inés de la F., Abbey Lee, Freja and Coco. they had to join to the other girls at final, but Karl changed his mind, and he went around on the runway with them, and when he was walking in front of Barbara, he was smiling, took her hands and pulled her with himself :) so this is the reason, why she was walking with Karl's favorites, he likes Barbara indeed! :woot: :heart: Karl is so cool.
 
^that is possibly the cutest model story ever. for all of her shortcomings as a model (pun intended :p ), she makes up for it with her incredibly adorable personality. I'm glad Karl took a liking to her, it could really make up for her lack of a runway season.


and that's really sad that she got snubbed by Natalia V., it's not like she has to be threatened by a new girl :rolleyes:
