I feel like they finally sort of changed it up this season. I like it a lot because it feels different but it is still in their aesthetic realm.

I saw the livestream, it was a pretty cool show, and I love the last dress! beautiful!

When I think of BCBG Max Azria I think of floating fabric; this brand excels at summer collections.
The sheer backs of skirts revealing shorts and the shirts that tucked in the waistband at the front but hung loose at the back were beautiful, as were the trademark billowing dresses,
There was a clever use of layering and lengths, this is only the second collection I've seen this season and they've both used these, layering lightweights for summer could be a trend.. but New York tries ever so hard to dictate some trends but they're rarely carried to Europe.

I really enjoy the use of sheer paneling, it looks really delicate and not out of place at all (unlike in some other collections). The color palette is super airy and light, even the moody black floral pattern, which is excellent for a summer collection. I find some of the shapes to be a little unflattering, but there are other pieces that make up for that. Overall a solid collection.
