Model Bella Hadid is adding fashion designer to her growing résumé. She announced her collaboration with clothing and jewelry label Chrome Hearts on Instagram late last night, uploading an image of herself wearing a cropped white logo tee printed with the letter B in the brand’s gothic script. The idea that Hadid should try her hand at design isn’t surprising: Her sister Gigi Hadid released a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger this past September. Plus, Hadid has made Chrome Hearts signature pieces such as leather motorcycle jackets and hoodies the cornerstone of her moody off-duty wardrobe. Her relationship with the label certainly runs deeper than clothing: She is close friends with Jesse Jo Stark, the daughter of Chrome Hearts creators Richard and Laurie Lynn Stark.

So what will Hadid’s take on the luxe rock ’n’ roll label look like? She is well known for her sexy, darkly romantic aesthetic, which means we can potentially expect a bevy of bodysuits, oversize hoodies, and crops tops. For updates, check the collaboration’s own Instagram @chromeheartsxbella.

She's like the only model talking about Aleppo in the last days.. so much respect for that .. most models and celebrities can't see past their noses really, their platform of millions only serves to sell them perfumes or watches instead of creating awareness and responsibility.

I've seen a lot of people from the industry, including models with big and small following, post about Aleppo this week. Not just Bella...

To be honest I don't really know how to feel about this. It seems to me that it's just the instagram trend of the week (like "bring back our girls" a several years ago). Taking 5 minutes of your day to post a picture of a dying child, saying how helpless you feel, and then go back to your comfortable life. Posting on instagram is not helping the situation. Maybe it does bring awareness, but I don't think a lot of people are getting their news from the IG of their favorite model (at least I hope so).

I don't know what's the better reaction, if you don't post anything on social media people will accuse you of being a narcissistic b*tch, if you do post, others will question your motivations. But I have a lot more respect for people who are committed to helping others on a regular basis or who support NGO and don't feel the need to brag about it on their platform.

The thing that annoys me the most is that massive killings have been a reality in Syria since 2012 or so. Of course what happened earlier this week is horrific to hear, but it seems like the world is only just waking up now, at least judging from Instagram.

Sure sixtdaily, I know what you mean. But stepping out of your comfortable life for even a second isn't something a lot of people ever do, so it's good to see anyway even though arguments can be made that we should be doing more.

It shows a good heart, and like I said a social conscience, something not at all required to succeed in modeling. Bella's shown support for good causes in the past as well, so I hope it continues as she gets older. Lots of people who get fame young make more of an impact as they grow up and really recognize the reach they can have to help folks.

She doesn't suit this hip hop/urban thing she's been doing lately. Maybe her ex got her into it, but she's this petite white girl and it looks off.

I actually completely disagree, style_savy

I think she suits it perfectly, and even though it's not a style that I particularly like I think she pulls it off with aplomb and I find it kind of refreshing to see.

I like it but she is trying too hard

Very late 90's/early 00's .. Christina A. style
