benefits of Wheatgrass

At the place I used to get my wheatgrass juice they gave you a small OJ chaser with it... :P

But honestly, I don't get that so many find the taste revolting... I think it has a nice, sweet taste... Maybe I'm the weird one. :ninja:

I can't stand the stuff but I don't much like green tea either. Why does all the stuff that is good for you have to taste so lousy?

True, it has a tinge of sweetness. it's just the aftertaste and smell that's revolting. I think OJ is the recommendation to chase down the 'aftertaste' of it. I was given an OJ slice to suck on after taking a shot. And since I took it before lunch I was told to wait 20 minutes and then eat.

Note: anyone who wants to do it from home, i heard it's best to use a manual juicer not the electrical ones. Don't asked what's the difference.

Yes, it must be taken fresh! I've read that drinking juices from the grocery store with wheatgrass in them are basically useless because most of the healthy properties leave within minutes of the wheatgrass being juiced.

I take shots of it when I go to Robeks. ^_^

thanks, ill make sure i take it freshly squeezed !
