Bronzed beauties in proximity to a luxury vehicle — land, air or sea — as seen through Mario Testino’s lens: Michael Kors has distinct preferences when it comes to his campaigns. For fall, he tweaked the format subtly, shooting campaigns (both by Testino) for Michael Kors and Michael Michael Kors. The former features a new face for the brand, Natasha Poly, in the buttery leather back seat of a vintage Rolls Royce. The latter spotlights Karmen Pedaru and Benjamin Eidem as a globe-trotting couple, who appear to be deplaning an aircraft (whether it’s private or commercial is difficult to tell) directly into their convertible. The global campaign drops in July with ads running in fall issues of several international editions of Vogue, W, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar and Tatler, in the U.S. and Europe. The campaign, which also includes traditional outdoor media placement, will reach 39 countries as well as digital outlets and social media platforms.
