Is anyone a fan of this brand? They have limited editions out at the moment which are very pretty indeed although they seem to be available only in France.

hey! I'm bumping this. I have been curious about this brand too. I live in the US but about a year ago I read (I think in Nylon) that Bloomingdales and select other stores would be carrying these popular french tennis shoes come last spring (2008). Well I spent the summer in NY and asked salespeople at the lex and soho bloomingdales as well as barney's Co-op. Nobody knew what I was talking about. Has anyone actually found them in the US yet? Maybe they changed their minds about selling them here.

I just think they are really cute simple comfy-looking casual shoes and being American, they aren't seen everywhere here like converse are. Plus I hear they aren't very expensive...

i have several pair I bought at the Bensimon shop in Provence and one pair I bought on line

some colors are available at urbanoutfitters.com (gris, taupe, coral, turquiose) and some at shopjumelle.com (blanc, mauve gris, taupe).

I am debating between the gris and the taupe.

or should I do a color? I like the colors but I am a commitment-phobe whose wardrobe consists of like 98% black and grey so I think taupe or gris would go best with everything although the colors are very cute.

oooo! I just noticed shopbop.com has framboise, beige claire, vert, blue lave, and rose. and free people has marine and gris midtops. all this I learned from thebensimongirls. I don't want mid tops though.

Maybe for a second pair I'll go for color but for a basic classic first pair should I do taupe or gris? I can't decide! please help! thank you so much.

Ok, I decided to get gris. I just think it will go better with my wardrobe since I do wear a lot of black and grey. Maybe I will try a fun color for my second pair. . .
