Summer is rolling up and legs are going to have to be on show. This summer I am going to give the 100% fake tan a miss and try these body moisturisers that gradually build a healthy looking natural tan(thats what the ads say anyway). Last year I did try the Johnson and Johnson's one but I found that a tad greasy and thought it smelt a bit too much like fake tan. The ones I've seen on the shelves are by Dove, L'Oreal and Olay. Anyone tried any of these or use/d a really good one I haven't mentioned?I preferably want one thats not greasy and smells nice.

I have used the Jergens, Olay, and Vaseline Intensive Care. My favorite has been the Vasaline brand because the other two still had a hint of the self tanner smell that the Vasaline brand does not. Olay and Jergens seemed to be more runny than Vasaline and I ran out of those two faster too

I use the Johnson's one and really like it. It has a nice smell and actually works.

I like the Dove one, it leaves your skin really soft and doesn't take ages to sink in. I found the Johnson's one made my skin tingle a bit and my friend was also allergic to it.

i'm using jergens again this year, but they made it in a darker formula. i'm pale, but i bought that one anyway and it got me darker faster, imho.

I'm using Johnson&Johnson (called Natusan in DK), it's really really great...but the smell! I hate the smell! Ick. Anyone who has tried both Dove and Johnson - if yes, which one is better?

Im using the Johnson one again this year, it is great but smells suspiciously like the burning flesh smell you get after being on the sunbeds! :innocent:

Hai...., I tried Clarins 2days ago. It smells really fresh. A friend of mine told me Garnier also nice.

I say watch out with Garnier. I'm pale and it made my skin yellowish-brown even i applied it carefully. Luckily it disappears in a week if you don't re-apply.

im using L'Oreal Nurti-Summer in the medium shade and everyone thinks the colour is real. its also quite moisturising and smells good on application. the only downside is the smell when the colour deveops but that cant be avoided and its much better than other self tanners

i'm using dove and i find it really good. i can see the difference and it doesn't leave your skin striped like self-tanners usually do. colour is light brown and it looks rather natural.

Nivea has one as well.. I haven't tried it but according to my sister it doesn't have that wiff of tanning smell that is so loathsome..

I've tried alot of them and the one I prefer is by Aveeno "Continuous Radiance". I love Aveeno lotions in general and this one smells sooo nice!

jergens smells better then the olay.. i have both but havent used either intensively enough to tell which is better. ima start using em now and see how they work

i use the dove one and so far i've been really pleased. the only thing you've got to do is to apply it regularly, because if you don't, it will start vanishing in an ugly way.

the only problem i find is applying it evenly on to your hands. it looks great everywhere else, so i wonder if anyone could tell me how to apply it right like in between your fingers etc. thank you!

i'm thinking of trying to the l'oreal one too^

I use Jergens. It's really great! I got the face one too. It smells, but it's definitley bearable for the good color.

i hate the smell of the jergens one, so ive switched to vaseline, it works pretty well so far =)

I've been interested in trying tinted moisturizers, but I've always wondered if the color ever smears off onto other fabrics after you've applied it to your body? I'm asking because I have white bedsheets and I wouldn't want to wake up with stain-covered sheets! :(
