I don't know what it is about them, the pom=pom or the heel, but I think they're very juvenile looking, like those little dress up shoes little girls wear but with a higher heel.

mmm YSL! Is the curve on the instep very curvy to give the foot that shape? Because the heel doesn't look high enough to do that alone...

interesting how they can manipulate the basic proportions and give a totally different look.
